Candle Care

First Light

Burn your candle for at least 3-4 hours upon the first light. The wax should reach all sides of the glass, finishing with a completely melted pool. Because wax has memory, it will continue to burn evenly across the top throughout time. This will also prevent tunneling from occuring.

When Extinguishing

Extinguish your wicks with a candle snuffer or wick dipper. Do not blow the flame out. Use a wick dipper (or a similiar tool) to ensure the wick is upright and clear of any debris. Allow the wax to cool completely.

Trim Your Wick

Before relighting, it is imperative that the wick be trimmed to 1/4" every time. Doing so will ensure longevity, proper burning, and prevent your jars from overheating. Candles like a fresh start with every light, so TRIM!

Be proactive
Candle Safety

Candles should be burned within sight. Always keep your candle on an even, fire-resistant surface and out of reach of children, pets, and flammable materials. Do not touch the glass after the candle has burned for a prolonged period of time. Allow the candle to cool completely before handling.
